Here's the first part of a new commission I drew for tffan01 He came up with this idea that's a bit of a cross over between Sailor Moon and the Roald Dahl story 'The Witches'. Here we have Usagi consuming a nice bar of chocolate she has gotten from a nice old lady. Considering her huge sweet tooth, Usagi could hardly wait to eat the chocolate during her day at school. However, as it will turn out, that was a big mistake.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactAs a big Roald Dahl fan, I was able to identify what the artist was referencing which was The Witches film from 1990, the last film adaption Roald Dahl was aware of before he died that same year. It should be noted that Roald Dahl was very unhappy about the adaption and protested one of the screenings for the film as the ending was changed along with other elements and one of these is the transformation that had the mouse formula victims shrink out of their clothes while their clothes morphed into mouse fur in the book. Other than that, I am very happy with how it plays out here with one of the Sailor Moon characters becoming a mouse like Bruno from the original story.
